10 TIPS TO SPEED UP YOUR LIGHTROOM WORKFLOW
- BUILD PREVIEWS– To go from image to image quickly– Library>Previews>Build Preview
- AUTO ADVANCE– To advance to next image without having to physically tap on it. – This is a tool to be used in the selection process. Used with the “flag”, “number” or “removal” – Use the “P” key, the “Number” key or the “U” key to determine what images you want to keep for further work.
- SOLO MODE

- Use in the “Develop” mode to advance thru the various modules without having to scroll thru the entire list.
- Put the cursor on or next to the name of the module and right click to activate this.
- HOW TO RESET A SLDER

- Double click on the name of the slider
- CROP OVERLAYS– Click on the Crop icon in the upper right of the Develop Mode. (Its the first one)– Select the crop form that you like for the development of the image.
- “F” KEY– Use to display the image in full screen. This gives the user a chance to see the details of the image.
- “L” KEY-Changes the background surrounding the image to provide a better viewing sense.– To see the before and after of the image that you are editing.
- VIRTUAL COPIES– Use to experiment with an image’s editing– In Library Module set the images to Grid View.

- Right Click on the image and select “Create a Virtual Copy.”
- Experiment with new settings as they will not influence the original.
- To Eliminate
- In Library Mode, Right click and select “Remove from Collection.”
- SYNC SETTINGS– Use to apply settings of one image to other images– In Grid view, Select the rows of the images you want to change.– Select “Sync Settings” (in the lower right corner of the screen).– Adjust any of the settings– Select “Sync.”

- All selected images will now have the same settings as the original.
